History of Debate

South Park has been under fire by Congress before for portraying children using the filthy profanity that is rarely filtered out by the censorship bleeping. Showing such poor judgment in allowing child characters, even cartoon characters, to speak such foul language has been targeted by organizations protesting such content be shown on television. Even the warning label for mature audiences was never strong enough according to critics of the show.

Children are not supposed to be watching South Park because the storyline is designed for mature audiences. The innuendoes and foul language should have been relegated to adult viewing times when children were not present. Unfortunately, some parents use the same foul language that is in the movie and children do not see it as anything other than the norm.
